I don't think we can go so far as to suggest

that H.K. should pay for Mr. Neville's main- ! tenance but I think we should suggest to Gov.

a contribution to the funds of the Inst. from

H. Kong funds, in recognition of their pro-

viding for Mr. N.

oopy of their letter with emoll. to Gov. and

view to some contribution being made from
